Children First Fostering Agency

Children First established in April 1999 is an independent Fostering Agency which provides a high quality fostering service for children and young people within the age range birth to 21 years. The Agency is managed and staffed by highly qualified practitioners.

Children First is a multicultural Agency, which caters for children and young people from various cultures and backgrounds. Whenever possible we aim to place children with foster carers who are drawn from similar cultures and backgrounds.

We are able to provide the following types of placement:

	Bridging		Short Term		Parent and Child
	Emergency		Long Term

Children First provides a comprehensive service which includes therapeutic and educational input (when needed).

Our foster carers and children in placement receive excellent support and training through regular visits and a 24-hour support service. Carers also receive attractive fees. Our carers support groups meet regularly, thus enabling a healthy and ongoing support network.

Children First Fostering Agency is registered with Ofsted.

The Agency will accept foster placements from local authorities throughout the UK.

We have offices in Bedford, and Essex and administrative matters are centrally managed from our Essex office.
